Originally built in 1908 on Liberty Lake, this home had already evolved through several renovations, but its kitchen, dining, and living spaces were ready for a more thoughtful transformation.
Our remodel focused on opening the main living areas to create a more connected, functional layout while preserving the character that made the home special. We completely redesigned the kitchen, introduced new materials and finishes throughout, and opened the wall between the kitchen and dining room to allow the great room to live more expansively.
Original details were intentionally preserved and incorporated into the new design, including the stone fireplace and an original newel post integrated into the kitchen island. The existing wood floors were refinished, bringing new life to another piece of the home’s history.
The result is a refreshed, cohesive living space that feels appropriate for today while honoring more than a century of character.
